Perhaps you are thinking of buying a family member a guitar for Christmas or a birthday, or maybe you are just hoping to improve your own skills as a musician.  I teach all styles, ages and abilities in a way that is tailored to each student.



The guitar is perhaps one of the most popular musical instruments that people choose to play.  The reason for this is that it is so versatile and is present in most genres of music.  There are also a wide variety of careers for a guitarist and I can pass on the skills required to make a successful living as a guitar player.


Some of my past students have gone on to make a living from music while for others it remains an enjoyable hobby.  The guitar provides never ending enjoyment for adults and children alike.  I have been playing for around 17 years and still never grow bored as there is always something new to learn.  You can read what some of my previous and current students have said about studying with me on the references page.

I teach the guitar because I enjoy provoking a fascination with music that never goes away.  It also enables me to look inwards at my own playing and re-discover what captured my imagination in the first place.
